Madeira Works
Terms of Service
Madeira Works introduces people looking for local services to independent professionals in Madeira. We provide the connection; the service agreement itself is between the customer and the professional.
What Madeira Works does
Madeira Works receives service requests, reviews and routes them to suitable local professionals. We do not employ the professionals and we do not perform the underlying work.
Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate and genuine request information.
- Be reasonably available when a professional contacts you.
- Agree the scope, price, timing and payment for the actual work directly with the professional.
- Do not submit more than two service requests within 24 hours using the same contact details unless Madeira Works agrees otherwise.
Professional responsibilities
- Use any available promotional credit or pay the displayed lead-unlock fee before receiving full customer contact details.
- Unlock only opportunities you genuinely intend to pursue.
- Contact customers professionally and without unnecessary delay.
- Agree the work, price, payment and any warranty directly with the customer.
- Keep business, tax and contact information supplied to Madeira Works accurate.
Lead access and availability
A lead is not reserved merely because a professional opens an email or views a lead page. Where several eligible professionals receive an opportunity, the first eligible professional to complete the applicable unlock receives access to the customer details.
Responsibility for the work
Madeira Works is not a party to the service contract between customer and professional. The professional remains responsible for qualifications, legal requirements, quotations, workmanship, safety and the service delivered. Customers remain responsible for deciding whether to hire a professional and for agreeing the commercial terms.
